"Alter Ego Italy 160" print by Alessandro Piano.
Alessandro has been in love with the Bricks since he was a child and the Famous bricks are immortal still today in his life. They are also able to transform into something immortal games that were common in the 80s. This is the intention of his work. This is why he started making “Alter Egos” with 80s games. He wants to let you all make a jump into the past and see our old games in a different and “immortal” way. He’s now making prints on PET out of the pictures taken of the Alter Ego he liked most.
Alter Ego prints are 50cm x 70cm. They bear a stamp and the progressive number complete with the description of which resin alter ego the image comes from on the back.
Alessandro Piano was born in 1979 in Genoa, Italy. He has a passion for tradition that he has chosen to delve into.
Games are only a small part of the past but they bring back childhood memories, some of the best moments. Collecting games not only helps us to reflect on our childhood, but also gives us the chance to find things we have been looking for ever since.
Many of the games are virtually unknown while others - such as Bricks - are still as popular as ever. The aim is to involve those who were born in the 70s and take a big step back in time together.
Alessandro Piano's works are the result of the manual processing of wood and resin, further adding to the love he has for collecting games. Alessandro is a modern day artist with a real passion for his art.
