"The A New World series is capable of confusing the real and virtual worlds, as often happens in the digital age. Each image is manipulated, needing continuous verification. In fact, the astronaut seems to explore another universe in detail, but in reality the places are simply the surfaces of everyday objects taken out of their context. It is the alteration of perception that generates a distorted reality in which references do not coincide and lose their value. They can now only generate "wonder", as indicated by the Chinese ideogram present in each image". (Lucia Melioli-Alessandra Villa, 2019, cat. The 5 N.I.C.E. curatorial projects)
