Up for auction is the 3D PUMA mural created by street artists Joe and Max, commissioned by FIGC for the unveiling of the 2016/2017 National Italian Football team away shirt!
On the occasion of its launch of the 2016/2017 National Italian Football team away shirt, Puma commissioned the internationally renowned artists Joe & Max with the creation of a 3D mural portraying players Gianluigi Buffon, Marco Verratti and Giorgio Chiellini.
The dimensions of this unique piece are 7 x 4 m; it is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional "Trompe l'oeil."
The work, created in Piazza Ferrarese in Bari, was donated by PUMA to raise funds in support of the FIGC initiative set up to help victims of the earthquake on August 24, 2016 in Central Italy.
This work has been signed in Coverciano by the featured players Giangluigi Buffon, Marco Verratti and Giorgio Chiellini as well as Carlo Tavecchio, president of the FIGC.
Joe & Max (alias 3D Joe & Max) are popular artists, famous for traveling around the world creating their works for a wide range of clients including Google, Disney, Reebok, Save the Children and Coca-Cola.
This artwork was sold at auction to support the FIGC initiative in 2016 and is now being put up for sale by the collector who won the lot.
