After the press conference the winners will meet some of the football stars at a drinks event. They will be able to collect autographs and take photographs with them.
The following day, October 11, the two winners will attend the Golden Foot Award award ceremony and attend the Gala Dinner.
It will be a unique and unforgettable experience.
The winner and their friend will be guests of honour at the Golden Foot Award and will be accommodated in a sea view suite at the Fairmont Hotel, one of the most prestigious locations in Monaco.
The Golden Foot award is an international prize for players who are at least 28 years of age, and have distinguished themselves for their sporting success, both individually and as part of a team.
It is awarded annually to a player based on the public votes placed on the official website. There are a pool of 10 candidates selected by a jury of journalists from all over the world. A number of legends are also inducted into the Golden Foot Legends each year.
The winners leave the imprint of their feet on the Champions Promenade, a special Walk of Fame in Monaco in the Hollywood Boulevard-style, and for this reason the prize can be won only once for each player.
The first winner was, in 2003, the then Brescia player and long time star of the Italian national team, Roberto Baggio, who left his mark along with Eusébio, Just Fontaine, Diego Armando Maradona and Gianni Rivera, the first to enter into the Golden Foot Legends.
Conditions: The winner will be notified via email and will be contacted by a member of our staff to arrange the experience. The Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of 11 October 2016 in Monte Carlo. The experience is valid for 2 people and is only inclusive of what is mentioned above. Participants will stay in the Fairmont hotel in a standard room. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the auction winner.
