Ronin is a subconscious narration of Japan seen through Western eyes; it is a set of elements, geometries and instant images, accelerated until they become indistinguishable, in favor of the whole. In short, the West looks to Japan that looks to the West: these are the words that can be found upon entering that unique place that is Ronin's palace. From the entrance in via Vittorio Alfieri 17, on the first floor, you enter the Robata restaurant.

Robata is a Japanese technique that involves cooking food directly on the fire, as in the most ancient methods. It is this direct contact that gives different sensation, both to those who cook and to the food. In the robata there are three grills, to alternate cooking according to the food.

The Cause

Since 2003, the Veronesi foundation has been pursuing a single objective: promoting the progress of science, health resources and ethical growth—civilly and in society.

Unique in its genesis, the foundation has pushed its own interests outside the walls of a laboratory, encouraging social involvement and education in science. The Veronesi Foundation is also active with its devotion to science so that the results from science become available to everybody. Particularly, the foundation spreads the principles of prevention and correct lifestyle to keep disease away, even the most serious diseases that we can avoid just by changing our behavior.
