Artista e architetto italiano di origine italo-svedese, Duilio Forte mette in palio URSUS, una scultura simile a quella attualmente esposta presso la Triennale di Milano.

L’idea di URSUS prende origine dalla passione per il museo di Biologia di Stoccolma, Biologiska museet, del 1893, un grande diorama della fauna scandinava a 360 gradi dipinto da Bruno Liljefors e dalla scoperta della magnifica Carta Marinadi Olaus Magnus conservata presso Carolina Rediviva l’edificio principale della libreria universitaria di Uppsala.

L'opera in questione risulta essere quella più piccola all'interno della fotografia.

Duilio Forte ha messo a disposizione quest'opera per sostenere Sogno 2016, comitato formato da: Associazione Bianca Garavaglia, Fondazione Arché Onlus e Missione Sogni Onlus.

The Cause

Sogno 2016 is a committee which includes three charities: Fondazione Archè Onlus, Missione Sogni Onlus and Associazione Bianca Garavaglia Onlus.

Fondazione Arché Onlus was founded in 1991 to cope with the pediatrical HIV emergency. Now it covers a huge range of difficult situations that affect children. The mission is to support the child and the mother with social and personal difficulties and aims to make them socially indipendent.

Missione Sogni onlus is a charity founded in 2003 by Antonella Camerana, to make dreams come true for children between the age of 5 and 15 affected by severe diseases. Since 2015, it has built vegetable gardens close to pediatric wings of the hospitals managed by the young patients.

Associazione Bianca Garavaglia Onlus promotes scientific research for pediatric tumors. Since 1987, it supports the S.C. di Oncologia Pediatrica of the Fondazione I.r.c.c.s Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano, one of the biggest pediatric research centers.
