A signed electric guitar in as new condition, autographed by Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. Item was signed in Wolverhampton, UK, in August 2016

Robert Plant is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Led Zeppelin. It is his powerful and wide vocal range that has resulted in his successful career, which has lasted over 30 years. Plant's talent has resulted in him being regarded as one of the greatest singers in rock history and in 2006 Heavy Metal magazine 'Hit Parader' named him the 'Greatest Metal Vocalist of All Time'. This was followed by being voted 'The Greatest Voice in Rock' by Planet Rock in 2009.

原因

These auctions will support the Italian Embassy efforts to fundraise for the Earthquake in Central Italy which struck on August24th 2016 and destroyed thousands of homes. The area affected stretched over a wide area including Rome and Naples and as far as Croatia and Slovenia and hit 6.6-magnitude.

It was the most powerful earthquake to hit Italy since 1980, striking a blow to the regions of Marche and Umbria just days after they were hit by two other earthquakes.
