Artists Hans Kleinjan, Maikel Kleinjan and Roderik Faasen paint away in their studio in Rotterdam. They met in 2008 and this turned out to be a match made in heaven: three creative spirits with the same ideas and a passion for art. Today their paintings are all over the world and they have exhibited in Milan, Antwerp and Los Angeles.

Most of their suprising and colourful works are made together. The collective AAAFressh123 started painting this 'great food and drinks' themed work in September, and it will be auctioned off on December 3 during the Charity Dinner. The painting size is 1,5 x 1,5 meters. The artists will be finishing the painting live on December 3 and can personalize the work to your taste.

Kunstenaars Hans Kleinjan, Maikel Kleinjan en Roderik Faasen ‘kwasten’ er in hun atelier in het Rotterdamse Oude Noorden flink op los. Hun ontmoeting in 2008 bleek een match made in heaven: drie creatieve geesten met dezelfde ideeën en een passie voor kunst. Inmiddels hangen hun werken over de hele wereld en zijn er exposities in onder anderen Milaan, Antwerpen en Los Angeles geweest. Vrijwel al het werk wordt gezamenlijk gemaakt, wat verrassende en vooral kleurrijke schilderijen oplevert.

Reeds in september is collectief AAAFressh123 begonnen aan een kunstwerk met als thema ‘lekker eten en drinken’ wat op 3 december geveild zal worden tijdens het liefdadigheidsdiner. Het kunstwerk heeft een afmeting van 1,5 x 1,5 meter. Op 3 december zullen de kunstenaars ook live komen schilderen en ze nemen verzoeken aan voor uw gepersonaliseerde kunstwerk.

The Cause

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. In 2017 the United Nations World Food Programme provided more than 18 million children with school meals.

In many countries, school meals are the only regular, nutritious meal a child receives each day. Costing WFP just € 0.20 each, school meals can improve children’s nutritional status and provide an extra incentive to send children, especially girls, to school and to help them to concentrate in class.

Whenever possible, WFP works with communities and local governments to source school meals from local smallholder farmers, thereby helping to boost the local economy.
