Beautiful velvet lined, handmade wooden tea chest with brass fixtures, containing a handmade 2-person Noritake 24ct liquid gold rimmed finest bone china teapot, 2 cups and saucers, hand-painted in Sri Lanka with the motto, ‘Where there’s tea there’s hope’, delicately scribed on the saucer. Noritake is renowned the world over for their quality, producing chinaware for more than a century including for dignitaries and VIPs during state visits including recently being bestowed the unique honour of crafting the Holy Communion bowls for His Holiness Pope Francis’ visit to Sri Lanka. This prize also includes a private Tea-tasting session with The Hope & Glory® Tea-Master who will travel to the tea-lover’s choice of venue and take them through an educational journey on tea, its history and the Hope & Glory®
