Be Different pays tribute to the great American artist Robert Indiana by creating a sizable collection of objects inspired by the artist. The most noteworthy among them is without a doubt the word "LOVE" in all capital letters, set in a square shape with the letter "O" at an angle.
This image, first created for a Museum of Modern Art Christmas card in 1964, became the 1973 US 8-cent postage stamp. It gained great popularity and was the first of a regular series of “love stamps”.
Be Different has not only reissued the iconic LOVE symbol, but has even elaborated on it by creating a series of messages made up of four attached letters, recalling Indiana's work with the collection name “INDIANA WRITE”.
