The Prize

You will take off from Shoreham Airport to explore the South Coast of England from a bird’s eye view in a Light Aircraft, piloted by Dorothy Saul-Pooley, a Past Master of the Honorary Company of Air Pilots with over 30 years flying experience.

Your flight will be a 45-minute sightseeing trip along the south coast followed by refreshments at the Art Deco Airport Restaurant.

*To be scheduled on a mutually agreed date/time, particularly when there is good weather (during the spring/summer).

The Cause

The Stationers’ Foundation is the education charity of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, the City of London Livery Company for the communication and content industries.

At primary school level, with a focus on literacy, we fund two Saturday Schools in greater London run by Civitas. At secondary school level, we support Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy in SE London, which specialises in digital media.

We also sponsor the annual SHINE Schools Media Awards, where students from across the country win awards for their school magazines and websites.

At further and higher education level, we support a number of apprenticeship initiatives in the media industry and provide postgraduate bursaries for students requiring financial assistance on programmes leading to careers in our industries.

Our aim is to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people, whilst connecting them to the communications and content industries and to the work of our Livery Company.
