"Hunched" is no.4 in a varied limited edition of 10 figurative sculptures produced by the artist Richard Sharples.

Each of the figures in the series is constructed from tiny etched brass leaves which are individually soldered together to form the figure. These sculptures are part of a larger body of the artist’s work which explores the fragility of human life and the aging process.

Richard Sharples is a multi-disciplinary artist based in London. His practice encompasses sculpture, installation, public art, photography and film. He has also been a visiting lecturer at Central St. Martins, Wimbledon College of Art and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His work is held in private and public collections at home and abroad.
