"As a child I wanted to be a painter, I have always cultivated my way of seeing things and a tireless research into expressive means.
I was born in Tuscany in a small town, Salutio, in the province of Arezzo. I graduated in "History of fashion and theatrical costume" and moved to Milan and graduated in "Adult and advertising illustration".

After a period as a freelancer and a photography course, I began working in the studio of photographer Giovanni Gastel, taking care of post-production and experiencing the transition between analogue and digital photography. Over time I went back to freelance and now my work is a mix of analogue and digital, I like to make what was created replicable in series unique with artisan intervention. I have a figurative language, but with a predominantly evocative and suggestive note given by different materials.

Photography, collage, paper and inks are the most recurring means in my investigation of themes such as memory, time, places and emotions. I often find inspiration in travel, music and literature, and all of this sometimes leads to an artist's book.

Since 2018 I have been dedicating myself to a personal project: IROIROWORLD, which includes small runs of self-produced photo books and images of the world I have seen, in the form of fine-art prints in limited or unique runs.

I have a passion for books and the decorative use of gold. I love everything that can be done with paper: cutting it, carving it, sewing it, binding it, breaking it down and assembling it to create three-dimensional elements.
