Fabio Viale's "Aeroplane" sculpture

Fabio Viale was born in Cuneo on September 19, 1975. He lives in Turin, where he graduated in 2001 from the Academy of Fine Arts.
Fabio Viale is a complex artist, on the one hand he has a perfect knowledge of sculpting techniques which gives his creations a certain "classic" appeal, but on the other he is a taste for challenge, for surrealistic images, for unconventional dialogue and for reinventing the old in a modern light.
In 2002, after many months of work, Viale launched a boat that was carved from a single block of marble! It was able to carry passengers and was driven by a 3hp motor. This incredible feat has inspired his sculptures using marble.
Among his many exhibitions are: 2002 - Performance "Ahgalla" documentation RAI, Port of Carrara; 2002 - Installation "Ahgalla" Adelinquere Gallery, Turin; 2003 - Performance "Ahgalla" documentation RAI, Murazzi ', Turin; 2003 - "Cards", Abbey Novalese, Chapel of the SS.
