Enjoy a tour and tasting for four people at Bride Valley Vineyards in Litton Cheney, Dorset.

After 50 years in wine and inspired by the unique chalky soils on his wife Bella's Dorset Sheep farm, Steven Spurrior decided to join the English Sparkling wine revolution. In 2008, he and Bella went to select the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunior root stocks from Burgundy's Perinieres Guillaume vine nursery. In 2011 the first harvest was picked, selling out on release in 2014. They now have over 10 hectares under cultivation on the chalky south facing slopes above the beautiful Dorset Village of Litton Cheney.

The Cause

Giving something back is a fundamental part of what Churchill Retirement Living believes in. In 2015, Churchill Retirement Living made the decision to set up the Churchill Foundation to better what they already do for charity. This enabled them to focus on supporting local communities as well as national charities where they build based on their chosen three core areas: the relief of sickness, disease and human suffering, the promotion of health amongst the elderly and the support and wellbeing of the young.
