Your donation will contribute to supporting the HumaCoo cooperation project in Namibia, which focuses on the ongoing water and hygiene emergency.

The HumaCoo project in Namibia is concentrated on the area of Opuwo, capital of the Kunene region. The Foundation has already planned the requalification of Hungua Primary School, that will soon become a fully-fledged school campus, which aims to put into action a further step of the project by developing infrastructures to aid access to water and hygienic services.

Access to clean and safe water is a fundamental aspect for human wellbieng. When water is contaminated it presents a very real health risk. Unhygienic conditionsrepresent a serious obstacle for the development of this region. Several schools in Opuwo, particularly those on the outskirts, do not have access to safe drinking water. This inevitably puts the health of infants and children at risk with pupils as young as 5 to 7 years old having to boil water from rubbish dumps.

HUMACOO, in collaboration with SEAS2, water solution provider, will introduce technology that converts air to water to the Opuwo school network, meaning that pupils and staff will have direct access to 2500 litres of drinking water a day - assuring the survival of the population in that territory and improving sanitary and environmental conditions as well as quality of life.

Ad oggi sono 49 i Paesi del mondo dei quali monitora necessità e possibilità d’intervento.
Obiettivo della Organizzazione è quello di realizzare progetti mirati in Paesi nei quali la lotta alla povertà è vitale, intervenendo in maniera programmata nelle situazioni di emergenza.

E’ così possibile raggiungere un maggiore equilibrio tra aree in via di sviluppo e nelle aree depresse.
Humacoo garantisce il rispetto dei diritti umani, secondo le linee guida della cooperazione internazionale promulgate dalla Comunità Europea e dall'Italia,
pensando al futuro in un mondo che cambia velocemente.
