Live Bid! Clifton Club Shelby Cobra by Baume & Mercier
Take home this exclusive limited edition Clifton Club Shelby Cobra chronograph by Baume & Mercier.
Its exceptional design excites at first site. Nonetheless, its charm goes beyond the aesthetic. The real value of a design icon is its ability to lead in performance and precision.
Baume & Mercier has lived this philosophy of perfection for the past 187 years. Every one of our timepieces is a concrete study on the ways in which design can step up to the plate hand in hand with craftsmanship and quality. A jewel to be protected is something to take pride in for those who share the same restless spirit of exploration and passion.
As a further evolution of the collaborative effort with Carroll Shelby Company, initiated in 2015, we are pleased to broaden our exclusive Shelby Cobra collection, concentrating on its most enduring masterpiece of design. Our source of inspiration is the legendary Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé*, the most iconic vehicle in the history of American car racing.
Peter Brock has worked closely with Baume & Mercier and the Maison's Head of Design, Alexandre Peraldi, on the creation of a collection that sets a new standard of style and aesthetics. The result is the Clifton Club Shelby Cobra Limited Edition, a series of exceptional chronographs proposed for the first time in the Clifton collection. Every single line and detail of the iconic Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé has been reinterpreted to 'extra ordinary.'
Fondazione Laureus Italia Onlus, founded in 2005, operates in communities on the outskirts of large Italian cities.
The foundation's objective is to support young people living in challenging economic and social situations, using sports as an instrument of psychological-pedagogical support.
All the projects promoted by the foundation include the presence of educators and psychologists in the field in order to make sports activities a useful tool for reaching educational objectives.
Fondazione Laureus has created a network of area partners—including sports associations, schools, and third sector organizations—with which it creates sports-educational programs geared for young people through various initiatives. These initiatives create a community for helping children and youth in need.
Laureus guarantees the training of all coaches and social workers involved.
Since 2005, Fondazione Laureus Italia Onlus has obtained the following results: over 14 projects started up in Milan, Naples, Rome, Bari, Catania and Bologna; over 3,000 children supported; over 20 different sports activities; approximately 30 sports associations; over 20 schools and 20 third sector organizations involved; and 18 “sports legends” who support Laureus Italy initiatives.
Fondazione Laureus Italia Onlus plans, implements, monitors and directly evaluates all the projects through its staff made up of social educators, sports psychologists and project managers.
