The work belongs to "Infinity", a visual art project created by Jacopo Di Cera, curated by Massimo Ciampa, resulting from a natural evolution of the previous photographic project Italian Summer, dedicated to the social and visual study of Italianness on holiday.

This evolution takes the form of a transformation of the media: we move from still images to moving ones, from traditional works to digital art. This path allowed the artist to adopt a new, more direct and immediate expressive language.

The role digital plays in our lives has profoundly evolved, becoming part of our culture and our time. Today digital art has found its own form of expression. Jacopo Di Cera creates works of art that communicate an infinite concept of time.

In this study - which touches on social moments of leisure, such as summer and weekends, winter breaks - time is eliminated. Actions no longer have a beginning and an end, subjects live in an infinite and indefinite time loop.

By losing the sense of time, only the interconnections between people remain, creating new forms of perceptions and suggestions.

Jacopo di Cera was born in 1981. After working in the world of communication, he dedicated himself to the world of art. In 2010 he was among the winners of the National Geographic competition. In 2016, with the project “Fino alla Fine Del Mare” dedicated to the theme of migration, he exhibited in various museums, galleries and international fairs. In 2017 he exhibited during the Venice Art Biennale, as a guest on Pier Paolo Pasolini's boat, Edipo Re, obtaining wide international visibility. In 2020 he began to take an interest in the world of digital art with various projects and exhibited his first digital works in 2023.
