We are delighted to invite Quintessentially’s Art Patrons to the studio of legendary British Pop Art icon Allen Jones. Working from the early 1960s right through to the present day, Allen is best known for his sexually provocative sculptures, which present the female figure as a piece of fetishist furniture.

Renowned for his satirical and boldly inventive work that embraces popular culture, Allen has garnered significant commercial and institutional success, with exhibitions across Europe, USA, Japan, Australia and Latin America. He has also been honoured with dedicated rooms at Tate Britain and the Royal Academy of Arts, and a full retrospective at the Royal Academy.

During the visit, Allen will discuss how he progressed from painting and drawing the human body to producing life-size mannequin sculptures that subvert the norms of acceptance. He will also share highlights from his illustrious career, discuss future projects, and provide guests with the rare opportunity to preview recent and unfinished work, up close.
