Hello Everyone,
No matter who you are or where you live, Covid-19 has most likely turned your world upside down.
We know that women and girls face greater risks in public health emergencies. If you are a woman, especially in the developing world, there is a good chance you are disproportionately affected: you may bear the brunt of caring for the ill and feeding your family. You may be one of the hundreds of garments workers to lose your job overnight. You may not be able to access healthcare facilities.
You may be one of the millions of women around the world suffering from domestic abuse. Except, now you’re trapped alongside your abuser, inside a home you’re not permitted to leave.
Researchers estimate there will be 15 million additional cases of domestic violence globally for every 3 months of lockdowns.

By standing in solidarity with us, our fundraising appeal will support some of the world’s most vulnerable women and girls. The Circle has long been there for the world’s most vulnerable women and we continue to do so at a time of even greater urgency.
Thank you and good luck!
The Cause
The Circle, founded by Annie Lennox in 2008, brings together women from all walks of life so that they can learn about the injustices and inequality facing many millions of women and girls around the globe, inspire, be inspired and ultimately take action to bring about change.
They believe in a world where women and girls are empowered, self-reliant, and able to influence the decisions that affect their lives.
They campaign and advocate for equal opportunities and the ability to realise fundamental rights, raise funds to support women's rights and work in partnership with like-minded organisations which are already doing exceptional work.
The Circle to date has supported over 160,000 women and girls in more than 16 countries. This has been done through using the income raised by the women members of The Circle and through the advocacy work they have undertaken such as publishing reports on the implementation of the Maputo Protocol in Kenya and the fundamental right to a Living Wage in the garment industry.
The Circle's vision is equality for women and girls in a fairer world.
Funds from this sweepstake will support The Circle’s emergency Covid appeal.
