Are you passionate about boxing? Let's meet in Mexico City and help Laureus Sport for Good together with Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen support projects in Mexico and Latin America. It will be fun!
I will be in Mexico mid-May for a very special event! If you win, you and your guest will be flown from anywhere in the world to Mexico City, where you will stay in a 5-star hotel for two nights and enjoy a Mercedes Benz courtesy car at your disposal. While there, you will attend a very special Laureus boxing project and watch me spar with kids before you and I get into the ring for a one-on-one boxing class!
There will also be enough time for you to explore the city and its beautiful surroundings - like going to see the world famous pyramids of Teotihuacán.
Interested? All you have to do for your chance to win is join me in supporting Laureus Sport for Good. All proceeds from this experience will support their mission of using the power of sport to end violence, discrimination and disadvantage proving that sport can change the world.
Donate $5 and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win. Donate more and your chances go up. I have put together some very cool rewards – check them out below!
Laureus Sport for Good supports more than 160 community programs in over 40 countries, helping to address the many social challenges facing children and young people around the world. Founded in response to Nelson Mandela's challenge, issued at the first Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco in 2000, that "Sport has the power to change the world", our vision is to use sport as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage in their lives.
The programs Laureus supports tackle a wide range of issues, including the use of soccer to teach kids about HIV in Uganda, basketball to help kids from disadvantaged communities into college in the USA, and skateboarding to help girls get an education in Cambodia.
Funds raised from this campaign will support work in Mexico City and Latin America. For example: Proyecto Cantera use the power of soccer to teach positive life values and create healthy behavior changes at 15 different children's institutions, deaf schools, safe houses and with other vulnerable children's groups in Mexico City; Instituto Reação in Brazil uses judo to promote human development and social inclusion and enable young people to develop self-discipline and determination; and Grupo Internacional de Paz uses a sport for peace curriculum to reduce violence in Colombia, helping to give young people a brighter future after years of conflict in the country.
