Roberto Mancini (Jesi, 27 November 1964) is an Italian football manager and former player, coach of the Italian national team. He made his debut with Bologna in 1981 and then became a stalwart for Sampdoria, where he played for 15 seasons. After moving to Lazio, he won a championship and two European cups, before ending his career at Leicester City. With the Italian national team he played the 1988 European Championship and the 1990 World Cup. As a player he won six Italian Cups, two Cup Winners' Cups, two Scudetti, two Italian Super Cups and a UEFA Super Cup, as a coach he boasts four Italian Cups, two three Italian championships, an English championship, an FA Cup, an FA Community Shield, a Turkish Cup and, at the helm of Italy, the 2020 European Championship.
