Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto is a Colombian footballer, striker for Atalanta and the Colombian national team. He arrived in Italy in 2010 when he joined Udinese with the club immediately loaning him to Granada where he gained promotion to La Liga. The following year he played for Lecce, before returning to Udinese and remaining there until 2015, the year of his transfer to Sampdoria. In the summer of 2017 he moved to Sevilla for 20 million and, after a year and a half, returned to Italy on loan to Fiorentina. He moved to Atalanta permanently in the summer of 2019. He has made 45 appearances and scored 8 goals for the Columbian national team.
