Ramón Ángel Díaz is an Argentine football manager and former player, who played as a striker. He made his Primera División debut in 1978 with River Plate. In 1982 he was signed by Napoli, where he played for only one year, before spending 3 years at Avellino. In 1986 he moved to Fiorentina and two years later he was loaned to Inter. Díaz ended his Italian career by winning the Scudetto with Inter in 1988/89. He later played for Monaco and Yokohama before retiring in 1993. As a coach he has managed various clubs, including River Plate, Independiente, Botafogo and the Paraguayan national team.
