Photo Action per Torino is an initiative set up in 2020 during the pandemic from the desire and experience of photographers Guido Harari and Paolo Ranzani together with Wall Of Sound Gallery. It was a call to the arts, an invitation to some of the best photographers in Italy and the world to donate one photo in support of the "Fondo Straordinario Covid-19", set up by the UGI - Unione Genitori Italiani against ODV children's cancer and by the Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino to support families in need who, due to the pandemic, found themselves in economic and social difficulty. 

More than 100 photographers signed up to the cause, donating one of the their works specially chosen for the occasion. The initiative met with extraordinary success: just five months from its launch, the foundation reached the record amount of 70,100 Euro.

Considering this great success, they decided to continue and thanks to the generous and heartfelt aid by the Galleria di Arte Moderna di Torino the images were displayed in the prestigious Wunderkammer from February 3 to June 20, 2021.

The prints are each unique pieces, just one print per image, in 30 x 4 2cm format on Epson Luster card. Each print has a certificate of authenticity on the back. 

The catalogue, edited by Guido Harari and Paolo Ranzani with an introduction by Giovanna Calvenzi and published by Wall Of Sound Editions, will be given free to the winners of the photographs put to auction.
