This tour takes you on a journey throught the Italian countryside. Start with a two night stay at 4* Hotel Ascheri from where you will visit the world famous vineyards of Barolo. Enjoy a behind the scenes tour and tasting at two prestigious wineries and enjoy a three course lunch.

Transfer to Florence by train and check in to the traditional 4* Hotel Monna Lisa a stones throw from the Duomo Cathedral. The following morning will be spent driving through the beautiful Chianti countryside with panoramic views culminating in a visit to a renaissance villa, cellars and oil producer with tasting and lunch included.

The Cause

La campaña #YoMeCorono tiene como objetivo conseguir financiación para la investigación sobre la COVID-19 llevada a cabo desde la Fundación Lucha contra el Sida y las Enfermedades Infecciosas, el Instituto de Investigación del Sida IrsiCaixa y el Hospital Germans Trias, donde médicos y científicos trabajan de forma incansable luchando contra esta enfermedad.

Nuestra investigación se centra en dos de los pilares más importantes de la lucha contra esta pandemia: la investigación clínica y la investigación básica. Respecto a la primera, realizamos varios ensayos con fármacos ya existentes para poder eliminar el virus desde el inicio de la infección y evitar la progresión a fases inflamatorias pulmonares y vasculares que son las que causan la muerte de los pacientes. Por otro lado, desde la investigación básica, pretendemos desarrollar en el laboratorio vacunas eficaces y nuevos tratamientos contra el coronavirus actual y posibles nuevas variantes que puedan aparecer.

Necesitamos todo el apoyo posible para seguir impulsando la ciencia y la solución que nos permita superar la pandemia.

The objective of the #YoMeCorono campaign is to obtain funding for research on COVID-19 carried out from the Fundación Lucha contra el Sida y las Enfermedades Infecciosas the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute and the Germans Trias Hospital, where doctors and scientists work tirelessly fighting this disease.

We need all the support possible to continue promoting the science and the solution that will allow us to overcome the pandemic.
