The minimum cost of caring for someone with a Spinal Cord Injury is approximately $250,000; obviously most people can’t afford all that. At Walking With Anthony, we believe that no matter what your circumstance, you should have equal access to life-altering healthcare.

We also believe that if you are fighting paralysis, you should be able to access recovery through rehab. Through our programs and grants, we provide rehabilitation, care giving, special equipment, emergency funds and most importantly, community – DIRECTLY to patients and families in need.

Walking With Anthony believes that everyone with a spinal cord injury (SCI) should have equal access to life-altering medical care. We provide direct and immediate assistance to individuals and families through our granting programs.

Although proven therapies and solutions for those with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI) are already in existence, they are largely unavailable to the average person suffering from an SCI. The cost of getting just one person out of a wheelchair are exorbitant, and insurance doesn’t cover any of it. Our goal is to change that: with a focus is on Recovery Through Rehab.

With your help, our heroes with SCI can get through the hopeless despair and get the financial assistance for the treatment they desperately need. Much hard work lies ahead for families affected by SCI, in order to lead them back to living healthy, thriving (even walking) lives. With your help, we can take these first steps… together.
