International restaurateur and entrepreneur, Francesco Panella has always been inspired by the history and tradition which he pays tribute to through his dishes. Born and raised in Rome, Panella has always been in the restaurant business with the family-run restaurant Antica Pesa, which has been in the family since 1922.

Francesco transformed this unique place into an internationally recognized brand and has gone on to receive acclaim for a restaurant that he opened in Brooklyn in 2012, which will be followed by a new restaurant in Shanghai in 2019.

Feroce Ristorante is a lively but cozy place that combines Italian tradition with contemporary elegance. The restaurant takes inspiration from Francesco Panella's new concepts, following on from the success of Antica Pesa, the legendary restaurant based in Rome, Italy. 

Feroce combines the best of both worlds, importing selected ingredients from historical brands and small producers from all over Italy, and sourcing fresh products from the best local suppliers in New York. The recipes are presented in a simple way, enhancing the flavors of each ingredient to showcase the area, soil, air and water that go into producing it.
