The Prize

Enjoy dinner for one in Ancona in the company of Italian high jumper Gianmarco Tamberi.

Born in Civitanova Marche on June 1st, 1992, Gianmarco Tamberi is coached by his father, Marco Tamberi, who held the indoor Italian record in 1983 with the height of 2.28 m.

In 2015, Tamberi broke the Italian high jump record twice, first in Cologne, and second in Eberstadt. During winter 2016, Tamberi won every competition he took part in and, among all his achievements, he won a gold medal at the World Indoor Championships in Portland in March 2016 with a jump of 2.36 m.

You will have a chance to attend the Italian champion's training session and go to dinner with him afterwards. In addition, Gianmarco Tamberi will sign his Fiamme Gialle competition jersey and his Puma shoe and give them to you as a gift.

This experience is valid for one person and will take place according to availability of Gianmarco Tamberi and the auction winner.

Gianmarco Tamberi joined the Fiamme Gialle in 2012. In 2016 in Monaco and Hustopece, he broke the national outdoor and indoor record.

The Cause

“WE RUN TOGETHER – Supporting our team” is a sports initiative supporting two hospitals that have been at the heart of the fight against Covid-19, the Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo and the Fondazione Poliambulanza in Brescia. The funds raised from the auctions will go to the medical and nursing staff of these two hospitals that have tirelessly looked after Coronavirus patients in recent months.

This campaign has received the extraordinary support and blessing of Pope Francis who is actively involved in the initiative by donating some of his own personal highly valuable and prestigious sports items. Besides the Pope, many internationally renowned athletes, companies and sports clubs have joined the cause because we’re stronger together.

WE RUN TOGETHER is promoted and organized by four organizations that have always been committed to promoting the value of sport as a tool for inclusion, sharing, dialogue and peace. These organizations are:

Atheltica Vaticana, the first sports club in Vatican City
Sports group Fiamme Gialle (Guardia di Finanza)
“Cortile dei Gentili”, department of the Pontifical Council for Culture (VA) to promote dialogue between believers and non-believers
FIDAL-Lazio, Lazio region Athletic Federation.
