Hello Family,

DREAMING IS FOR THE BRAVE.

We all have dreams, and all of us deserve to have the right to dream freely…but the dreams of the “Dreamers” are being seriously threatened.

As you know, the “Dreamers” are children and youth who entered the US irregularly, accompanying their parents, and in most cases, without knowing their immigration status. They have grown and lived in the US, which they consider their home, and they dream of getting out of the shadows. Despite not having permission to reside in the US, they were able to enroll in schools. As they come of age, they face the same needs as other youth their age, such as pursuing higher education, looking for a job or having a driver’s license, but often, they can not get these things, because of their lack of “papers,” and the permanent threat of being deported.

The Dreamers movement brings together these undocumented youth who have made the conscious decisión to raise their voices without fear of deportation, and who began a fight to achieve immigration reform..

WE'RE ALL DREAMERS.

I invite you to be part of this group of brave individuals, and join me in wearing the shirt of the #Dreamer team.  All funds raised by the sale of this shirt will directly support the ongoing efforts of Ascend Educational Fund, Dream Big Nevada andImmigrants Risingwho fight daily to help struggling #Dreamers achieve their dreams.

SOÑAR SOLO ES PARA LOS VALIENTES. 

Todos tenemos sueños y cada uno de nosotros deberíamos tener el derecho de poder soñar libremente… pero los sueños de los Dreamers están siendo seriamente amenazados.

Como sabéis, los Dreamers son niños y jóvenes que ingresaron en Estados Unidos de manera irregular acompañando a sus padres, en la mayoría de los casos, y que sin saber su condición migratoria han crecido y vivido en ese país al que consideran su hogar y en el que sueñan con salir de la sombra. A pesar de no tener permiso para residir en el país, pudieron inscribirse en escuelas. Al acercarse la mayoría de edad, se enfrentan a necesidades como cursar estudios superiores, buscar un trabajo o tener un permiso de conducir, pero a menudo, no pueden conseguirlo por la falta de papeles y la permanente amenaza de ser deportados.

El movimiento de los Dreamers agrupa a todos estos jóvenes indocumentados que tomaron la decisión de levantar su voz sin temor a la deportación e iniciaron una lucha por conseguir una reforma migratoria.

TODOS SOMOS SOÑADORES.
