Villa il Poggiale, which falls under the category of "Historic Italian Homes," is a guest house near San Casciano in Val di Pesa in the heart of the Chianti wine producing area. The hotel is a Renaissance villa that has been fully restored by the owners to offer great hospitality in a family setting.

The Relais Villa Il Poggiale, surrounded by tall cypress trees, overlooks vineyards and olive groves that bring to mind scenes and landscapes from Italian Renaissance paintings.

The most stunning Tuscan cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca are nearby and make perfect destinations for wonderful day trips to take in the history, flavors and smells of one of the most beautiful regions in the world. On your return "home" to the Poggiale in the evening you can take a swim in the pool, have a drink in the garden among the perfumed roses, and dine by candlelight on delicious Tuscan fare in the restaurant. The Cause

Together to Go Onlus (Tog) was founded in order to create a center for hosting 120 children affected by complex neurological diseases. These children have suffered damage to their Central Nervous System from either genetic diseases, improper prenatal development or birth trauma. They have motor, cognitive, behavioral and communication disorders. Following diagnosis, they need rehabilitation, which is often the only effective cure. Tog creates a customized rehabilitation plan for each child, to help with: movement through physical therapy, communication through speech therapy, better understanding the world through cognitive therapy, and interacting with others through psychomotor training, music therapy and psychological support.

For Tog, the goal is not only to find a cure and help the children develop to their full potential, but to also create a trustful and empathetic environment that helps their families and schools.
