4 Night Stay at the Kinsterna Hotel

This auction lot will be closed at the Global Gift Gala charity auction on 30 November 2015. Please read the Silent Auction Bidding Conditions below for more information.

This auction is for a 4 night stay, inclusive of breakfast, at the Kinsterna Hotel in Peloponnese, Greece.

The hotel is a Byzantine-era rural mansion, painstakingly restored with tremendous respect for its long history. It is tucked away in the lush hillside, with privileged views of the Castle's Rock of Monemvasia (Peloponnese, Lakonia region) and the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. It blends magically into the surroundng vineyards, timeless olive groves, imposing eucalyptuses and the loft cypresses, within an estate of 18 acres. The mansion offers unique rooms and suits, autonomous residences and 2 magnicifence villas. There is also a river-like pool and private relaxation areas, admist fragant orange trees and the atmospheric Kinsterna Spa, with signature treatments and highly qualified therapists.

Moreover, all activities that have taken place in the main mansion and surrounding houses in the past have been revived; private label products, including wine, extra virgin olive oil, olives, tsipouro (a Greek spirit), bread, and marmalade are now onsite. It is now possible to enjoy an enchanting night drinking wine from the local privately owened vineyards next to the Byzantine cistern, or the incredible culinary creations from the Greek and the mediterranean cuisine, with delectable local products and ingredients cultivated in the estate, in the Kinsterna restaurant.

The hotel was included in the prestigious Conde Nast Travel's Hot List as sone of the 65 best new hotels in the world!

Silent Auction Conditions: This auction allows the user with the highest bid at the end of the online auction to obtain the right to participate by proxy at the Global Gift Gala on the 30 November 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane, London, where this item will be auctioned. The online auction winner will be able to bid in the silent auction through the online system, and will receive information on how to do this once the online auction has closed. The highest bidder from the silent auction will win the item and in the event that the online auction bid was not exceeded, then the online user will be the winner.
