The Prize

Villa Lividonia is in the beautiful Italian Tuscan countryside, a short 1.5 hour drive from Rome.

It was designed to accommodate both indoor and outdoor life. Built in natural stone, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers unforgettable views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean and Tuscan archipelago.

Featuring five comfortably furnished bedrooms and four bathrooms, Villa Lividonia invites its guests to sit back and enjoy their stay.

Whether you have lunch under the pergola after a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or enjoy a relaxing drink watching the sunset after a day spent exploring the Maremma countryside, we feel Villa Lividonia will not only be like a second home for you, but also a splendid setting in which to enjoy your holidays.

Upon arrival at the villa you will be met by Mrs. Labardi and shown around the property. This will include instructions on how to operate the villa’s appliances (kitchen cooker, oven, microwave), WI-FI connection (is open and automatic). At the property you will be supplied with a full inventory and schedule of condition.

The Cause

Walking With The Wounded provides a pathway for "at-risk" veterans to integrate back into society and sustain their independence. At the heart of this journey is employment.

Our objective is to support physically, mentally or "socially" injured veterans in overcoming the hindrances preventing them from integrating back into society, leading independent lives and holding down a fulfilling job that makes the most of the unique skills gained through first-class military training. Our programmes give them access to mental health therapy, support them in their journey out of homelessness, work with those at the point of entering the criminal justice system and guide marginalised veterans into education, training and employment.

We have achieved much in recent years, however with success comes ambition and responsibility—ambition to support more "at-risk" veterans in society by expanding employment opportunities and a responsibility to deliver the most successful and sustainable outcome achievable for each and every veteran we support.
