Questa etichetta nasce nel 1999 con l'idea di creare un elegante blend bordolese con un tocco toscano. Affidandoci al rinomato vivaista Gilbert Bouvet, abbiamo innestato vigneti maturi di Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon e Petit Verdot, che ben si adattano al terreno toscano. Il nome deriva da un ruscello, Oreno, che attraversa la tenuta. proprio nella zona più ricca di argilla dove crescono proprio le nostre piante di Merlot Mentre nei terreni con maggiore presenza di ciottoli, che assicurano un perfetto drenaggio e svolgono una funzione autoregolatrice di temperatura e umidità, il Cabernet Sauvignon trova la sua naturale collocazione. Un perfetto complemento alla miscela è un piccolo tocco di Petit Verdot, tradizionalmente utilizzato come portatore di note speziate e intensità di gusto. Oreno conquista con la sua estrema intensità e complessità olfattiva ricca di note fruttate di piccoli frutti rossi maturi e confettura di frutti di bosco, fuse con note balsamiche note di eucalipto, cioccolato, cacao e spezie.
