Pair of wines from the historic Gaja winery comprising the Langhe Sito Moresco 2017 and the Langhe Cremes 2018.
Langhe Sito Moresco is a red full of finesse and harmony, obtained from Nebbiolo grapes and small quantities of Barbera and Merlot, aged eighteen months in barrique. Its color is a beautiful ruby red. The bouquet is wide-reaching and varied comprising small red fruits with light balsamic and aromatic notes; it is soft and enveloping on the palate, with subtle and elegant tannins.
Langhe Cremes is the result of a careful combination of Pinot Noir and Dolcetto, with an intense and deep purple red color. The nose offers an intense range of fruity aromas of currant, black cherry jam and raspberry. Noble, extremely balances, elegant and complex. Excellent almond taste in the finish.
