Photograph printed on cotton paper, applied on dibond and framed with box frame and museum glass.
Born in 1980, he lives and works in Milan. He graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. His research develops through the stratification of elements drawn from history and literature and cultural and social symbols that evoke a sense of unreality, suspended between mystery and marginality. Through photography and installation, he restores suggestions and experiences to the images, recounting ambivalent mainly nocturnal worlds, which generate a sort of temporal suspension, at the same time opening up to new interpretations. In 2013 he won his first prize in the photography section of the Celeste Prize. In 2016 he was a finalist in the IX edition of the Talent prize in Rome, in the same year he held the FAAP artistic residency program in Sao Paulo in Brazil. In 2019 he was a finalist for the Rotary Club of Asolo award and in the same year he won the Level 0 award with the GNAM of Rome within Art Verona, while in 2020 he published his artist's book De uma estrala à outra published by Boîte Edition.
He has exhibited in various galleries and public spaces in Italy and abroad, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lissone, the Civic Museum of Recanati, Villa Manin di Passariano, the civic gallery of Pirano (SLO), Il Palazzo Lutetia - FAAP in San Paolo (BR), the Ducal Palace of Urbino and the Center for the Graphic Arts of Ljubljana, the MACTE of Termoli.
