Società Cooperativa Sociale Naukleros ONLUS

Naukleros is a social cooperative founded in 2003 as a cooperative of young archaeologists, designers, pedagogists and various other professionals in the social field motivated to design and implement projects not only in the cultural, artistic and environmental fields, but even in the services.

This was first achieved in the Italian province of Brindisi with the creation of technically and scientifically directed archaeological excavations and guided tours, educational workshops for children and experimental archaeology in schools of all levels, in hospitals and youth centers. Then, it was extended nationally and internationally to improve quality of life and create a sense of community. Complementary therapies such as clown therapy, social circus, music therapy, art therapy, dance therapy and theater therapy have also been incorporated into the program.

Naukleros has been active in clown therapy and social circus since 2007 at the P.O. A. Perrino di Brindisi, in R.S.S.A. Healthcare Residences for Seniors, in polyvalent centers for minors, in CRAP Psychiatric Care Rehabilitation Communities and in schools of all levels, and since 2012 it directs the SICLOT, International School of Clown and Clown Therapy.
