RunForEmma & Friends

#Runforemma & Friends was founded in 2016 by a group of friends who, while running together, discovered the value of solidarity and decided to embrace the philosophy of Running Solidarity: to always run for a good cause!

Thanks to the Milan Marathon Charity Program #Runforemma & Friends has collected over € 160,000 in three years to help two wonderful children, Emma and Gabriele and after that the many children affected by SMA assisted by SAPRE, the Early Enabling of Parents Sector of the IRCCS Foundation Ca 'Granda-Maggiore Policlinico Hospital of Milan.

Gabry, Sveva, Riccardo, Greta, Sofia and all the other SAPRE children take your breath away with their strength and incredible desire to smile, play and have fun "in spite of" SMA.

#KeepSMAiling is the name of the project that #Runforemmma & Friends is promoting in 2019 to finance "My son has a 4-Wheeler" (MF4R): an intense and exciting experience, an opportunity for recreational therapy, training and psychological and practical support for the families of "SMAkids" who are confined to a wheelchair.
