Global's Make Some Noise

Global’s Make Some Noise is a national charity that changes young lives right here in the UK.  These youngsters may be affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.  They want every child and teenager to reach their full potential, so they use the power of radio to make some noise for those who struggle to be heard.

They award grants to specially selected projects across the country that are making a big difference in their local communities.  These include a charity supporting teenagers with cancer in Glasgow, children's hospitals in Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham, a young carers' facility in London, children’s hospice services across the country and a national child bereavement service.

Your support of Global’s Make Some Noise will mean that they can help to change more young lives.

Why They Need Our Help

There are an estimated 49,000 children and young people living with a life-threatening or life-limiting condition.  Children’s hospices provide a vital support network to these children and their families.

It costs three times as much to raise a disabled child, so external support and respite care for exhausted mums and dads can make all the difference.

Each year over 24,000 children are bereaved of a parent and need support to help them rebuild their lives.
