FundAction

FundAction is a participatory fund and activist platform for social transformation in Europe, co-designed by activists and founded in 2016 as a result of longer term engagement of movements and activists by a group of members of the EDGE Funders Alliance. Currently, FundAction has 250 members committed to strengthen collaboration among European activists and to support the capacity development of activists and the social movements they work with. We believe in people and their power to organize and build movements in order to resist all forms of domination, exploitation and oppression, in order to rethink our relations and to renew our societies.  By shifting power to make decisions about funding from foundations to those at the frontlines, FundAction aims to:

• Strengthen collaboration and mutual support among European activists
• Build the capacity of activists and the social movements they work with
• Distribute funds towards the needs and aims of activists, as identified by activists and movements at the frontlines of action.
