Fondazione Biomedica Foscama

The primary objective of the "Foscama Biomedical Foundation - Love for quality of life" is to improve quality of life by supporting social solidarity and projects in the health, educational and care sectors aimed at protecting health and integration.

The activities for 2015 carried out by the Foscama Biomedical Foundation were concentrated on the "Natale in Soffitta" project. Less than 1 month after its establishment, in order to continue its primary purpose, on December 22nd 2015, the Foundation held its first event. In collaboration with the Department of Pediatric Oncology of the A. Gemelli Polyclinic and the Associazione Sale in Zucca Onlus, the foundation presented this "Christmas in the Attic" event for children affected by neoplastic-oncological diseases. Because these children suffer psychophysical damage, this time for creative and imaginative play provided social interaction and thus psychological support.

In 2016, the project "A caccia di Sogni" by Capitolina Onlus was created with the aim of achieving the integration of children in socioeconomic difficulty through social-sport activities. It is an opportunity for children to inter-relate with their peers through such sports as rugby, football, swimming and volleyball and, at the same time, promote the development of their autonomy.
