Comunità nuova is a charity that helps young people with difficulties, empowering them for a better future.
Its president is don Gino Rigoldi, a chaplain of a juvenile prison in Milan. Founded in 1973 thanks to volunteers connected to the prison, it operates in a concrete, atheist and apolitical way.
Comunità Nuova promotes people's personal and social growth, and it especially works with young people, marginalized (or soon to be) teens without the means to live a safe and stimulating life. The main points are: hospitality, relationships and cooperation.
Our mission is to care about minors and their families, offer them the possibility to experiment and plan their future, and to help refugees and marginalized people.
