Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficking (ASSET)

The Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficking (ASSET), founded in 2007 by humanitarian and Emmy-winning actress Julia Ormond, is an advocacy NGO, 501(c)3 dedicated to delivering human rights and reducing and stopping enslavement and trafficking before it starts. We believe in changing the system.

We work to enable the most effective points of engagement for everyone on the planet to take part in dramatic, lasting and positive change. We identify, create, advance and support systemic solutions to that end.

We believe that, in some part, we are directly causing and connected to forced labor. Within the entire spectrum of enslavement, trafficking and forced labor, the largest group impacted is within agriculture and mining. For every 1 person forced into sex-trafficking, 4 people around the world are forced to work.
