Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer

The AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer) supports patients, families, volunteers, and professionals who work together to prevent cancer, educate people about cancer, and support those dealing with a diagnoses. The association also finances research projects on cancer that improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. 

The association acts as the spokesperson for Spanish society's effort in reducing the impact caused by this illness and improving people's lives.

At times helping the ill patient is not enough. AECC makes its voice heard by public officials to develop appropriate policies for cancer prevention and control.

Currently AECC is located throughout Spain, with 52 Provincial Councils.
