AMO Baldo Garda Onlus

The  “Miki De Beni” Association is a volunteer program. It’s mission is to provide free home care assistance for cancer patients and give them the right to be cared for and to live out the final phase of their life with dignity. Through this free home care program, the families receive aid and assistance based on their real and basic needs.

The assistance is completely free of charge.

Not only does the Association help alleviate suffering but it also promotes the adequate information on how to control pain, the meaning of palliative care, final life decisions, accompanying the dying patient and support for family members during the disease and mourning.

The will to take care of, even when it's not possible to cure, to safeguard the dignity of the patient, to improve the quality of life, to support families in assisting their loved ones at home, these are the commitments that make up our association.

In order to reach these goals and to optimize the distribution of the home care assistance, the Association has organized its home care activities based on palliative care.

Home care assistance is offered by the palliative care team at home and is made up of physicians, professional nurses, technical assistance operators, a physical therapist, a psychologist, a spiritual guide and trained volunteers.
