A.A.R.VI. - Associazione Amici del Rene di Vicenza

The Association’s objective (A.A.R.VI.) is to promote awareness regarding renal diseases and the problems associated with them. Its goal is to support research and to study new techniques and technologies aimed at improving the patient’s health.

Renal disease represents a very important percentage of all the diseases of the human body and can bring to serious dysfunctions of the organism and to the complete failure of blood purification. The branch that specializes in these sorts of diseases is called Nephrology. A nephrologist prevents, diagnoses and cures diseases having to do with the renal system and the dysfunctions that follow due to failure of one or more functions.

In these past few years, A.A.R.VI, has been committed to concluding various fund raising projects in support of the Nephrology department at the Vicenza hospital and of the IRRIV Research center - International Renal Research Institute of Vicenza – and it has contributed to realizing important research activities and studies for treating cardio-renal diseases in children.
