ResQ · Auction “Together we return to sea _ 2026”
Items from the ResQ People ship, damaged by Cyclone Harry

ResQ saves human lives in the central Mediterranean, the most dangerous border in the world. In January 2026, Cyclone Harry severely damaged our ship, the ResQ People, forcing it to stop operations at a time when people were still dying at sea.

To return to rescue missions, we need a new vessel—more agile and faster. That is why this auction exists. Every item comes from aboard the ResQ People—it has crossed the sea and been part of rescue operations alongside the crews. These are not souvenirs; they are witnesses.

By acquiring one, you take home a fragment of this story and directly contribute to putting rescuers back at sea. Without a ship, there is no rescue.

Some items are mounted on wooden bases made from timber recovered from migrant boats wrecked on the Sicilian coasts, crafted by the young people of the social cooperative Rò La Formichina (Community of Pope John XXIII Association): wood that once was a boat, that carried lives across the sea.
