The Ri-Nascita Project

Ri-Nascita is a project promoted by SVS Donna Aiuta Donna, a social cooperative long committed to providing shelter and supporting the independence of women and children emerging from situations of violence.

At the heart of the project is the regeneration of Cascina Carpana, an ancient Lombard farmhouse nestled in the Parco Agricolo Sud. Located just a few steps from Milan’s Corvetto district, the Cascina and its vast green spaces form a true oasis within the city. Once abandoned, it is now being transformed into a place of hospitality, training, recreation, and well-being.

Here, women and children coming out of difficult situations will find a beautiful and stimulating environment where they can take the time to rebuild their lives.

Within the Cascina, there will be temporary housing, as well as spaces for training and professional growth: a restaurant, bistro, craft workshops, circus and theater school, vegetable garden, riding center, and dog daycare.

Each activity will offer real opportunities for training and employment, in an environment designed to help individuals rebuild both their personal and professional paths.

Animals will also play a key role in this project, with dedicated spaces created for their well-being and for the people who can benefit from them. Activities such as pet therapy with horses, dogs, and goats are already planned within the Cascina.

A place like Cascina Ri-Nascita, centered on collaboration, care, the patient rebuilding of new balances, and respect for the environment, is deeply aligned with the values of Maya the Bee — her strong bond with nature and her positive, life-affirming spirit.

In the Cascina, Maya could become an ideal companion — among gardens, orchards, workshops, and recreational spaces — guiding children (and adults alike) through journeys of discovery, learning, and rebirth.

After all, bees are vital to our ecosystem, a powerful symbol of resilience, interconnection, and community.
