This is a unique opportunity to own a portrait polaroid print of Roger Federer.
Roger Federer was photographed on the legendary Polaroid 20x24 camera by acclaimed photographer Zenon Texeira. Texeira photographed Roger literally 15 mins post his Wimbledon victory against Nadal and was the first time he had been photographed on the rare camera. The legendary six-foot tall camera (one of only five ever made) was driven from Prague to Wimbledon and set up, tested and ready for action within two hours. Andy Warhol and Chuck Close are amongst other artists that have chosen to use this camera built in the 1970’s. Chocolate’ is Polaroid’s official name for the film Texeira used, traditionally known as ‘sepia’ in the UK. This special portrait print itself measures 20x24 inches and delivers the greatest detail that rivals the best digital camera today. Federer was on the set with Texeira for over 30 mins and the images captured were stunning and unlike any others of Federer previously. This special one off polaroid portrait has been also signed by Federer and Texeira.
