Lionel Messi's worn boots from the 2011 European Super Cup Final
This is an incredible item that would not look out of place in a football museum.
The auction is for a pair of Adidas F50 boots which Lionel Messi wore in the Barcelona-Porto match, on 26 August 2011 at the Louis II stadium in Monaco, for the UEFA European Super Cup 2011.
The boots show clear signs of being worn and Leo Messi also signed them after the match.
In the 33rd minute of the match, these boots broke and the sole on the left boot was damaged. As can be seen in the accompanying video and images, Messi had to change the boots before carrying on with the match.
The right boot has been customised for the player:
- Argentina flag;
- "Leo Messi 10".
The boots come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi has given the boots to Massimo Mauro to raised funds for the Fondazione Vialli e Mauro.
Estimated Value: 50.000 Euro

- the left boot broke at: 0.1 to 0.28;
- replacement boot brought at: 1.55 to 2.10;
- Messi changed his boots at: 3.20 to 3.30.
